Shun Negative Acts, School Proprietress Urges Youths

YOUTHS have been advised to avoid negative behaviours, but focus on activities that will better their lives and make them leaders of tomorrow.

The Proprietress of Peculiar School, Okpanam, Stephanie Okalla, gave the advice during the 2024 prize-giving day of the school, located at Obodogba quarters, Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.

She enjoined the graduands to “always have a positive mindset and believe in themselves”, adding that the school has great trust and belief that they would confront challenges with courage and come out as better individuals.

While wishing them success in future endeavours, she urged them to “be easy going in life because life in school and outside the four walls of a school are very different”.

Okalla also urged the students to “always tread with caution and try as much as possible to stay out of trouble. On her part, the school elocution teacher, Miss Glory John commended the proprietress for venturing into the private education sector

She said that the proprietress is doing a great job in and advised the graduands to ensure that they put in their best in everything they do.

John stated that the school gave them all the necessary basic educational background needed for them to excel in life, while emphasizing the need for them to develop their talents.

The event featured presentation of awards to the graduands. as well presentation of poems, choreography, valedictory speech, dances by the different classes among other activities.
