The Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Area, Olorogun Jaro Egbo has announced the dissolution of all revenue committees in the council.
Egbo, made the announcement during the meeting with various Committees heads, said the dissolution takes immediate effect.
According a press statement signed on behalf of the Executive Chairman by the Assistant Director of Information in the council, Mrs. Inana Anna, Hon. Egbo directed members of the dissolved revenue committees to handover the council’s property in their possession to the treasury office.
‘’He urged business owners and residents of Ughelli North Local Government, who are yet to meet their revenue obligations for 2024 to come directly to the council’s treasury to make payment, noting that the council will adequately inform people of Ughelli North Local Government Area as soon as new revenue committees are constituted.’’
Egbo, however, appreciated all members of the various committees for their individual and collective contributions towards the development of the council.
