THE Chairman of the board of the Delta State Rural Development Agency, Engr. Smart Meka has emphasized the importance of unity, professionalism and collaboration in achieving set goals.
Meka made the remarks when he played host to the leadership of the Professional Women Accountants of Nigeria, PROWAN, led by the state coordinator, Mrs. Tosan Erikpara, in his office in Asaba.
Meka pledged to collaborate with PROWAN, stressing that unity and collective efforts were needed to promote the MORE Agenda of the Oborevwori administration. He urged the women to apply their professional expertise in enhancing service delivery in their places of work.
Earlier, Erikpara congratulated Meka on his appointment and commended him for outstanding performance so far.
The PROWAN team outlined their mission, emphasizing the need for training and retraining of accountants in various offices and establishments. “The visit is aimed at fostering collaboration and support for capacity building in the accounting profession”, Erikpara said.
“This meeting marks a significant step towards promoting professional development and strengthening partnerships”.
