The Vice Chancellor of Delta State University of Science and Technology (DSUST), Ozoro, Prof. Jacob Oboreh, has called on students of the institution to be wary of the planned protest across the country.
Prof. Oboreh made this call during an interactive session with the students at the university’s 1,200 capacity auditorium in Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area of the state.
Speaking at the session, the Vice Chancellor expressed the institution’s commitment to be accountable for every bonafide student of the university.
He added that any misfortune that befalls students, whom he referred to as his “children” would be highly felt by the management of the university and, as such, he cautioned the students to stay away from any violence-related occurrences.
The VC, therefore, charged them to remain on the path of dedication to their studies which, according to him, is key to attaining their goals in life.
