In anticipation of the planned nationwide protest, price of pump price has soared in filling stations as long queue of vehicles have surfaced in the somefilling stations monitored monitored by our correspondent in Warri South and Uvwie Local Government Areas of Delta State.
Our correspondent observed that a litre of fuel was sold at N900, 00 in filling stations and N1000, 00 in the black market.
Meanwhile, the hike in the pump price of fuel has consequently led to the hike of transportation fares by commercial buses (of kpelegbe) and tricycle (keke) operators, who have increase their fare by more than 100 percent.
