The branch Chairman of the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) at the University of Delta (UNIDEL) Agbor, Comrade Joel Ikwu has commended the Vice Chancellor, Prof Stella Chiemeke, for her leadership which led to the successful completion of the 2023/24 academic session.
According to him, despite the numerous challenges posed by the national protest, the academic session was concluded on a high note. Comrade Ikwu emphasized that this achievement is a testament to Prof Chiemeke’s exceptional administrative capabilities and her steadfast commitment to the university’s progress.
“Prof Chiemeke has proven herself to be one of the finest university administrators in Nigeria. Her name is now etched in the stone of achievers for her remarkable ability to steer the university through tumultuous times,” said Comrade Ikwu.
He further lauded her expertise in human management, highlighting how she engaged the university’s stakeholders with her visionary approach. ‘’Prof Chiemeke’s efforts to transform the University of Delta, Agbor into a world-class institution and the number one choice for admission seekers have been particularly commendable.
‘’Her strategic initiatives have not only enhanced the university’s reputation but also attracted a growing number of prospective students’’ he said.
He expressed confidence that under Prof Chiemeke’s guidance, the university would continue to reach new heights and provide an enriching educational experience for all its students.
