THE prospects of a bountiful harvest in Delta State have been heightened with a truck-load of fertilizers donated to the Agbor communities by the Federal Government.
The 600 bags of fertilizers were shared equally among the communities.
Speaking on behalf of the communities, the Agha Arinwa Dein of Agbor Kingdom, Chief Friday Ntadi expressed gratitude to the Federal Government for remembering Agbor farmers in the fertilizer incentive.
Ntadi thanked the Dein of Agbor Kingdom HRM (Dr) Benjamin Keagborekwuzi for the great role he played in the free fertilizers’ distributions to the communities, adding that the fertilizers would boost their farm produce.
The distribution process of the fertilizers took place at the Agbor Royal Palace in Ime-Obi, Agbor. Members of the various communities that benefitted from the Federal Government’s largesse took turns to appreciate and pray for the Agbor monarch, who they described as a caring and loving Royal Father.
