Okorodudu, Tilije Celebrate Ighoyota Amori At 72

IN an atmosphere of jubilation and merriment, as former Senator, Dr. Ighoyota Amori celebrated a significant milestone, his 72nd birthday in Asaba, the capital of Delta State.

The event was a grand gathering of esteemed guests, including top government officials, former commissioners, royal fathers, traditional rulers, political leaders, family members, and well-wishers.

Addressing guests at the ceremony, the Chairman of the occasion and Commissioner for Finance, Fidelis Tilije hailed Amori, saying that “Only God keep dressing you on a daily basis, and as he dresses you, we see it radiating all over. One thing I so much emulate is your sincerity to serve and love everyone equally without minding one’s age or status.

“We know that you will continuously live with us as we learn and tap from your wisdom, and the quality of life you have live. All we can say, is Happy birthday to you, sir”, Tiliji said.

On his part, the Chairman, Board of Directors, Delta Printing and Publishing Corporation (DPPC), the publishers of The Pointer titles, Dr. Ebenezer Okorodudu, described the celebrant as a renowned politician in the state.

‘’A man of dignity and esteemed character, his impact over the years cannot be over-emphasised. I thank God for keeping him in good health, happy birthday to you, sir.

Also, the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Legal Matters, Chief Isaacs Itebu recounted his experience with the celebrant. He said: “Amori is a man I came encounter with in 1997 when I contested for the House of Assembly in Okpe consistency under Grassroot Democratic Movement (GDM) and since then, we have been in touch, also coordinating his political activities.

“He is an honest, dedicated, fearless and God-fearing man. I pray that the good Lord will continue to bless him with good health, long life and prosperity as he ages gracefully. And to all those that aspire to reach such an amazing age, my advice is that you be honest, transparent and kind in all your dealings, and above all fear God”, he said.
