THE Dein of Agbor Kingdom, His Royal Majesty (Dr) Benjamin Ikechukwu Kiagborekwuzi has called on Nigerians to be patient with the government in the present hardship plaguing the Nation. Dein made this call at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ime-Obi, Agbor, in his remarks during the dedication ceremony of a new church building built by an illustrious son and donated to the Catholic Diocese of Issele-Uku.
He particularly thanked God that the ten days Nationwide protest embarked upon by Nigerians to protest against bad Government and hardship had come to an end, pleading with Nigerians to be patient with Government and the current economic travail plaguing the country.
He commented that the economic hardship Nigeria is undergoing and political unrest is not only in Nigeria but that a lot of other countries both big and small were undergoing some economic and political travails.
He particularly called on mothers not to relent in their duties of bringing up their children in the fear of the Lord, adding that they should continue to give their children, both big and small, quality advice.
He reminded Nigerians to always look at the life of Christ, the model of Christians who bear a lot of pain and suffering for the salvation of mankind, while advising Nigerians to tolerate one another no matter the religion they profess, or the tribe they belong to. He thanked the Bishop of Issele-Uku Catholic Diocese, His Lordship (Dr) Michael Elue who was the chief celebrant at the dedication ceremony for his prayers for his spiritual children.
