Agbor Community in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State was Thursday agog with celebration as a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart and, Managing Director, Babsfield Corporate Ventures Ltd, Chief Julius Babogha (PhD) marked his 63rd birth anniversary.
Held at his private residence in the Ebuogba area of the community, the birthday party organised in his honour by his Children, relations and a few of his dependants, attracted who-is-who in the area and beyond as guest took time to unwind.
Guests at the party who included party faithfuls (PDP), business associates, Community leaders (Ebuogba) Staff and colleagues eulogised the celebrant whom they described as a bridge builder, uncompromised philanthropist, a voice for the voiceless and a lover of God.
Speaking specifically, Chairman of the occasion and childhood friend of the celebrant, Dr. David Ekpesu enjoined the Ijaw-born business mogul and educationist to take advantage of the birthday to reflect on his past, his present in order to project better his future.
Describing Chief Julius Babogha as a man who has risen to his present societal status by dints of hardwork, commitment and consistency as well as an uncompromised love for God, Dr. Ekpesu urged him not to relent in his efforts at putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the society.
He noted that the advice had become imperative as according to him, that way, God would continue to bless, sustain and protect him for humanity.
On his part, the celebrant, while expressing joy and surprise at the “lavish” reception organised in his honour by his immediate and extended family, noted that the birthday party was a wake-up call for him to continue to do more for humanity.
He said, “This birthday today is indeed special to me. It resonates a feeling of joy and happiness to me considering the fact that it was put together by my children and loved ones.
“For this bold step you have taken, I want to reassure you that going forward, I will continue to uphold the good name that this family is known for” Babogha said.
