The Agbor Development Forum (ADF), led by its chairman, Mr. Macaiah Okoh, has held a meeting with the Member representing Ika South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Festus Chukwuyem Okoh.
The meeting took place recently at Hon. Okoh’s residence at Ime- Obi, Agbor.
The ADF delegation, which included key members, such as Mr. Williams Eghebi (Secretary), Mr. Frank Aziken, Mr. Emmanuel Monye, and Mr. Augustine Ekamagule (Assistant Secretary), appealed for completion of key projects.
These projects include the University of Delta Teaching Hospital building, road construction at Uromi Junction, and other infrastructure projects. Additionally, the group brought attention to medical facilities and staffing at Agbor Central Hospital.
Okoh, speaking on behalf of the ADF, stressed the forum’s ongoing commitment to driving development in Agbor and urged Hon. Okoh to leverage his position to reach out to the relevant authorities to ensure the swift completion of these key projects. The forum expressed its strong belief that these projects are vital for the town’s growth and well-being.
In his response, Hon. Okoh acknowledged the concerns raised by the ADF, re-assuring the group that the state government, under the leadership of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, is well aware of the uncompleted projects in both Agbor and Abavo.
He cal led for pat ience, emphasising that the current administration is committed to completing all outstanding projects in due course.
Hon. Okoh also took the opportunity to thank the ADF for their proactive engagement with him, commending them for their dedication to the development of Agbor. He assured the forum that he would continue to work tirelessly to bring attract projects to the area and remain responsive to the needs of his constituents.
