THE Unuevworo of Uvwie Kingdom, High Chief Hope Akasa, has commended and appreciated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his development strides in Uvwie kingdom.
Akasa, who is the highest traditional Chief in Uvwie Kingdom, gave the commendation in a media interaction with our correspondent at his Alaka residence, Effurun over the weekend.
He remarked that the patronage of Governor Oborevwori in terms of infrastructural developments and appointments has shown his love for the Uvwie people.
Akasa, who also spoke on the recent appointment of Mr. Graham Osakwe as Secretary to the Uvwie Local Government, remarked that the appointment was a welcome development to the kingdom.
He commended the Chairman of Uvwie Local Government, Hon. Anthony Ofoni for his choice of Grayham Osakwe as SLG, noting that Hon Osakwe is resourceful, experienced, humble and transparent and would do well as Secretary to the Local Government (SLG).
“He is the type we have been yearning for; He is a square peg in a square hole. The people of Etche R ‘ Alegbo and the entire people of Uvwie Kingdom are happy about his appointment as SLG,” he added.
