BOMADI Local Government Area chairmanship candidate, under platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has promised to fix the deplorable state of the Bomadi/Ohoror road for motorists and commuters .
Andaye made the promise while inspecting over 15 failed portions between Bedeseigha community in Patani local government area to Bomadi overside in Bomadi Council
Area of the State.
Hon. Andaye noted that after the remendial work, he intend to carryout, commuters, motorists and other road users would heave a sigh of relief, saying that the final intervention would come from the Delta State Government. “I cannot wait to get to
power before fixing the road, it is a personal responsibility to see that the suffering of people plying this road was alleviated , to enable quick accessibility for motorists in reaching their destination”.
According to him, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was feeling the pains and agony faced by the road users while plying the road. He assured them of the governor’s determination to address the state of road holistically.
He thanked Governor Oborevwori and his team for quick intervention on the collapsed Bedeseiga bridge.
Meanwhile, the Bomadi PDP acting Chairman, Mr Prince Opuofeni, who was part the inspection team, also thanked Governor Oborevwori for the intervention in the reconstruction of the collapsed Bedeseigha bridge.
Opuofeni said that he was hopeful that the governor would also come in no distant time to re-construct the deplorable Bomadi/Ohoror road.
He also commended Hon. Andaye. who was yet to be in government, promising to offer remendial work on the failed portions of the road.
Also, Hon Pius Labo, Chairman Delta State Art Council and DG, ARD team, averred that the process of reconstruction of the entire stretch of the road was in top gear, while calling for patient amongst motorists.
On Andaye’s promise to fix the deplorable state of the road, Labo said he was amazed over the kind gesture, saying it was first of its kind in Bomadi area for an individual to
dole out colossal amount of money for such a project to the public.
In another development, Andaye Rawlings Dagidi ‘ARD team’ was received by a rousing crowd when he visited his country home, Kpakiama to inform them of his preparedness to contest the 13th July, 2024 Council polls.
