THE Delta State people’s Democratic State Deputy National Chairman and also a major Stakeholder of D25L for 2027, Barr Val Arenyeka, has urged the newly elected Local Government Chairmen and councilors to see their victory as a call to serve by ensuring that their campaign promises are fulfilled within the timeframe of their administration.
While addressing members of his group D25L for 2027, he congratulated the 25 Local Government Chairmen and councilors, while commending them for their successful electoral victory in the recently concluded Local Government Chairmanship election.
Barr Val Arenyenka specifically thanked all members and supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state for voting for the party’s candidates, who are expected to oversee the local administrations for the next three years.
“The people of Delta State have confidence in the party due to the dividends of democracy delivered by the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori-led administration across all local government areas,”, he added
He said that the chairmen and councilors would make the party proud by working in their respective local government areas to complement the efforts of the state Governor, Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
Barr Arenyeka urged the newly sworn-in council officers to follow Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s example by replicating his efbyfortsin their council areas, while assuring Deltans that the party would continue to deliver on its promises at all state levels.
