THE Delta State Commissioner, Directorate of Riverine Infrastructural Development, Chief Ebikeme Clark has tasked community leaders in Warri North Local Government Area to be comprehensive in demanding the needs of their people. Chief Clark made this known when he visited the Warri North Local Government Chairman, Hon. Festus Ashima in his office at Koko to gather firsthand information from Warri North residents about their needs and concerns.
Speaking, the commissioner noted that the visit was a significant step towards addressing the unique challenges faced by riverine communities in Delta State. In his response, the Warri North Council Chairman, Hon. Festus Ashima commended the Delta state governor for being sensitive to the plight of those affected by flooding in the council and the state at large. He, however, assured Chief Clark of his commitment to ensuring the mandate of the ministry is fully achieved in the local government area.
