An influential Warri-based contractor, and resident of Cemetery Road near Iyara Junction, Warri is on the run for defiling a 12-year-old boy.
A source disclosed that the popular chief lured the boy with promise of giving him some used closed and cooked food.
The unsuspecting boy, who has lost his father and has a deaf and dumb mother, fell prey to the evil plans of the chief.
On getting to the apartment of the chief, whose family members were not at home at the time of the incident, the boy was allegedly given drugged food to eat by the chief.
The chief was said to have placed a ring in the anus of the boy before penetrating the boy and in the process caused serious damage to the anus of the boy, who bled profusely.
On regaining consciousness, the boy reported the satanic incident to his deaf and dumb mother who in turn reported it to the boy’s uncle.
When the chief was confronted, he admitted to have committed the sinful act and allegedly gave the uncle of the boy N8,000 to cover his evil act.
Unfortunately for the chief, neighbours and aggrieved residents got wind of the matter. The irate residents went to the chief who also got wind of the coming aggrieved residents and then vanished into the thin air. This angered the irate residents the more as they destroyed his house and valuable properties.
Meanwhile, the boy is said to be in a state of coma in a private hospital due to the loss of blood, at the time of filing this report.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Delta State Police Command, SP Bright Edafe confirmed the incident to our correspondent.
