The Supervisory Councilor for Environment and Youths in Oshimili South Local Government Area, Hon. Adim Dikedi has assured of a cleaner environment.
Dikedi gave the assurance while speaking with our reporter in Asaba, the state capital. He said as a grassroots person who knows the terrain, he would ensure that all the nooks and crannies of the council wear a new look.
He said with the current outbreak of cholera in other parts of the country, it is imperative to keep the environment clean and safe at all times, so as to keep the disease at bay.
Dikedi said he would work with the environment task force of the local government council to ensure that they enforce cleanliness amongst the people of Oshimili South.
The supervisory councillor said wastes are to be evacuated on a daily basis.
He said in supporting the Local Government Chairman, Chief Kelvin Ezenyili succeed in office, proper sanitation in all communities in the Oshimili South Local Government Area would be vigorously pursued.
Expressing joy over his appointment, Dikedi promised that he would not disappoint, promising to help his principal consolidate on the developement strides of his first term in office.
