Commissioner Promises To Impact Delta Youths Positively

IN line with the MORE Agenda of the Delta State Governor, the Commissioner for Youth Development, Barr. Trakiriowei ThankGod, has vowed to put in his youthful energy in ensuring that youths in the state feel the impact of the ministry. Trakiriowei made the promise upon his resumption at the ministry in Asaba.  He said the ministry will ensure that youths in the state benefit from the human capital development of the ministry as well as empowerment programmes that will make them productive.

While thanking the Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for the opportunity given to him in his cabinet, he assured youths across the state of benefiting from the dividends of good governance.

Trakiriowei, while calling for synergy from staff in the ministry, said he will operate an open door policy, adding that he was prepared to work together with them for the growth of the ministry as their support will make him succeed in office.

On her part, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Ngozi Mogbolu promised the commissioner the cooperation and hard work of staff to achieve the best. Mogbolu said with the Commissioner’s wealth of experience on youth activities, she was optimistic that the ministry would attain greater heights under his watch.

While commending the state Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for giving them a youthful commissioner, Mogbolu said Hon. ThankGod will help empower and develop youths in the state.

She expressed confidence in the commissioner’s swift action towards consolidating on the existing programmes of the ministry.
