The newly inaugurated executive members include Mr Daniel Onyetoni as the General Community Youth Leader, Mr Hillary Ohen, the Youth Leader of Idumuogbe Quarters, and Mr Orisekwu Lucky.

Speaking during the inauguration of the youth body on behalf of the community, the President General of Owa-Alizomor Community Development Union, (ODU) Mr. Chuks Iku, commended them on their nominations and inauguration as youth leaders in the community.

He encouraged them to always be fair and transparent in the discharging of their assignments. He also advised them to always support things that would add value to the community by shunning anything that would dent the good image of the community, saying that Owa-Alizomor is one of the most peaceful communities in Ika land.

According to him, “I am the happiest man on earth this very moment to inaugurate Mr. Daniel Onyetoni as the General Youth Leader of Owa-Alizomor Community.

“To work with him are Mr. Hillary Ohen, Youth Leader, Idumuogbe Quarters, Mr. Orisekwu Lucky, Youth Iruh Quarters and others. I want them to work harmoniously and assiduously with the Land Committee, led by Chief Monday Irabor, the Isiuwe of Owa Kingdom, Mr. Daniel Okome, General Secretary and others so that they can achieve their goals of ensuring massive growth in this community.

“I am also advising the newly inaugurated youth leaders today to go home and nominate two persons from the various quarters to support them in carrying out their duties.

“I also want to state that from today onward, Mr Daniel Onyetoni, Mr Hillary Ohen, Mr Orisekwu Lucky and the person that will come from Idumu-Ose Quarter are now members of the Community Land Committee.

“Do not take laws into your hands. Remain focused, obedient and committed to your duties. Above all, I advise you to also regard your positions as calls to serve and not an avenue to enrich yourselves’’ he said.

The event which was held at Owa-Alizomor Community Town Hall, attracted the presence of some community elites among whom are the ODU President, Mr. Chuks Iku and Christian Agbobu,

Others include Mr Dennis Ezenwali, Nath Kisimkwu, Dennis Nwabor, Mr Sunday Afule and other community stakeholders.
