MINISTER of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, has informed Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori,that the leaders of APC Delta had unconditionally accepted him as their undisputed state leader.
Keyamo and a powerful delegation to Governor Oborevwori assured that the MORE Agenda had been adopted as the blueprint for the party, while commending him for the numerous mega infrastructure development across the state, including the three flyovers and pedestrian bridges under construction giant, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc. He noted that the defection of the governor and the state party structure to APC had automatically aligned the state with the federal government and President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which according to him, would upscale both infrastructure and socioeconomic development in all sectors of the state economy.
“Your Excellency Sir, we unconditionally welcome you to APC. You are a blessing to the party, a blessing to us, a blessing to the State, a blessing to Mr President and a blessing to the good people of Delta State.
“Delta State is now aligned with the party and government at the centre and the synergy will be incredible. You are now our undisputed leader. “We wholeheartedly submit to your leadership in the state. We have also adapted your MORE agenda as our agenda.”Keyamo assured. Responding, governor Sheriff Oborevwori thanked the leaders and federal lawmakers for their visit.
The visit to the Governor had in attendance the State Party Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, three Senators representing Delta State; Senator Ede Dafinone, Senator Ned Nwoko and Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, as well as House of Representatives member, Rt Hon Ejiroghene Waive, Executive Director of NEXIM Bank, Hon Stella Okotete, and other notable leaders of the party.
