A bill for a law to provide for the registration of domestic staff service providers in Delta State, was read the first time on the floor of the State House of Assembly.
The bill code named “Delta State Domestic Staff Service Providers Registration Bill, 2024” is being sponsored by the Majority Leader of the State Assembly and Member representing Aniocha North State Constituency, Hon. Emeka Nwaobi. The bill which has 15 other members as sponsors, has been scheduled for second reading on Tuesday, July 16, this year.
Similarly, a bill for a law to provide for the prevention and prohibition of Destruction and Vandalisation of Public Properties and other Public Assets in Delta State which was also read the first time at yesterday’s plenary presided over by the Speaker, Rt. Hon Emomotimi Guwor, has been scheduled for second reading on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
The bill codenamed “Delta State Prevention and Prohibition of Destruction and Vandalisation of Public Properties and Assets Bill, 2024 is being sponsored by the member representing Okpe State Constituency, Hon. James Augoye.
