THE Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, yesterday, approved a slight adjustment in the portfolios of two members of the State Executive Council (SEC) to enhance the implementation of his administration’s MORE Agenda.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Kingsley Emu, the changes were described as critical and necessary for driving the administration’s developmental objectives.
Under the new arrangement. Mr Charles Ehiedu Aniagwu, previously the Commissioner for Works (Rural and Riverine Roads), has been reassigned as Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information.
Similarly, Dr Ifeanyi Osuoza, who served as Commissioner for Information, is now the Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House).
The adjustments, which take immediate effect, demonstrate the Governor’s commitment to ensuring efficiency and aligning responsibilities within the State Executive Council to deliver on the promises made to the people of Delta State.
