The Delta State Traditional Rulers Council has applauded the First Lady and wife of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Senator, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu for her Renewed Hope Initiative Health Programme which has greatly impacted Nigerians.
The Commendation is contained in a Four – Point communique read by the Chairman of the Council and Orodje of Okpe, Major General Felix Mujakpuero (Rtd), Orhue 1 at the end of their monthly meeting in Asaba.
“We appreciate the presence of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu who is in the state to flag – off donations of medical Kits to Midwives for Health improvements in the South – South region .”
The Council particularly commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for synergyzing with the renewed hope initiative health team towards enhancing the health needs and overall wellbeing of the people of the State.
The monarchs pledged their total support for governments at all levels, saying that Nigerians were yearning for more dividends of democracy.
The Council congratulated the Asagba of Asaba, Obi Professor Epiphany Azinge, SAN and the Ovie of Agbarha – Warri kingdom, Kingsley Emuakpor Orereh on their appointment as Members of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council.
The meeting was attended by the First Vice Chairman of the Council and Pere of Akugbene Mien, S.P Luke Kalanama V111, the second Vice Chairman and Obi of Ubulu – Unor, Agbogidi Henry Kikachukwu 1st (PHD) and the immediate past Chairman of Council and Obi of Owa, Dr Emmanuel Efeizomor 11.
Also in attendance were the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse 111 and the Udurhie 1 of the great Ijerhe kingdom, Monday Ovie Whiskey (PhD), among others.
