THE Delta State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Female Youth Wing has officially passed a vote of confidence in Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, praising his exceptional leadership in transforming Delta into an establishment hub.
This endorsement took place during a meeting convened by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Female Youths, Comrade Sandra Akpoguma.
Akpoguma emphasised that the gathering aimed to strengthen the group’s commitment and encourage greater participation of young women in active politics, particularly in rallying grassroots support for the PDP as the 2027 elections approach.
During her address, Akpoguma urged members to foster peace and unity within the group and to mobilise additional supporters for the party, while collaborating closely with the State Working Committee (SWC) led by Chief Solomon Arenyeka.
She highlighted the key achievements of Governor Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda, which focuses on gender and youth inclusivity, and emphasised the administration’s significant strides in infrastructural development.
The group unanimously expressed their confidence in the Governor for his outstanding leadership and for maintaining enduring peace and progress in Delta State.
