THE Rector, Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, Professor Emmanuel Achuenu has bagged a merit award in recognition of his remarkable leadership performance in academics.
The Chief Executive Officer of A-Media, Mr. Charles Enuma presented the award to the rector in his office at Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.
He noted Professor Achuenu commitment and devotion to the growth of the public service was highly commendable.
The media consultant while saying that Professor Achuenu has contributed immensely to the growth of Delta State and the nation at large, added that the rector was not only involved in infrastructural development but also human capital development.
Enuma stated that Professor Achuenu brought his wealth of experience to bear in the development of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi- Uku, describing him as a great builder.
The rector, who spoke to newsmen shortly after receiving the award, lauded A- media team for recognizing his contributions to the academic world, adding that the award would spur him to contribute more to the state and nation.
