Director-General of Delta State Bureau for Communication and Orientation, Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has said that Deltans are in for more dividends of democracy with the rising profile of the State Governor, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori.
Oghenesivbe’s assertion was contained in his New Year message, made available to newsmen, describing Oborevwori as a “mesmerizing political celebrity and a pragmatic leader on the fast lane in service to humanity.”
He noted that Governor Oborevwori has become a “super bride in national politics, occasioned by his detribalized leadership quality, nationalistic agenda through political bridge building and for his enviable good governance strides as revealed in the ongoing implementation of the MORE Agenda.”
Oghenesivbe also stated that “all well-meaning Deltans are consciously proud of Oborevwori’s monumental achievements in less than two years in office, pointing out that year 2025 will mark a significant milestone in history as the governor mounts mega projects that would make any detractors to celebrate him across the three Senatorial districts”.
He said Governor Oborevwori’s rising political and leadership profile prompted some social media influencers to overzealously predict his unconfirmed move to navigate to the major opposition party in the state, pointing out that such political permutations clearly acknowledged the governor as an achiever, a consummate leader and an attractive political bride.”
To Gov. Oborevwori, he said “it is an open secret that you are led of God. You are God’s project, judging from your victory in 38 court cases to become governor of Delta State.
“God shall continue to lead you through the right direction as we navigate into another year.
“Your rising political profile is good for Delta State and for our people. Good politics enhances development and prosperity as you have demonstrated”, Oghenesivbe said.
