THE Deputy Chief of Staff to the Speaker House of Representatives, Dr. Chamberlain Dunkwu, has counselled Ika youths of the All Progressive Congress (APC) on unity and consistency, assuring them that more empowerment programmes are on the way.
He gave this assurance in a meeting with the youths across the Ika nation who visited him in solidarity with his sterling leadership qualities. The youths also made a case for empowerment to inspire a sense of belonging.
According to Dr Chamberlain, “APC youths are very important to me and you can see how much I regard you all. I want unity among you and consistency because no progress can be made without it. Empowerment will come and I assure you that by October, I will sponsor one for you all” he said.
Present at the meeting were APC youth leaders, including the Deputy State Youth Leader of the party, Comrade Ekpeni Freedom; Ika South Youth Leader, Comrade Aganwonyi Armstrong; Ika North East Youth Leader, Comrade Orbit Samuel Ehianuta, among others.
