EDO State House of Assembly has confirmed four nominees for Edo State Internal Revenue Service and four nominees for Edo State Local Government Service Commission.
The confirmation of the nominees was after the consideration of the reports of the House committee on rules, Business and Government House chaired by the majority leader of the House, Hon. Charity Aiguobarueghian.
Presenting the report, the majority leader said that the nominees had the prerequisite qualifications to serve in the various capacities they were nominated for and recommended that the nominees be confirmed by the House.
Members of the House who made contributions during consideration of the report spoke glowingly of the nominees calling their colleagues to confirm them.
Members of the Edo State Internal Revenue Service to be chaired by Mr Bankole Balogun are Messrs Michael Ohio-Ezeomo, Patrick Ediake and Jackson Eribo while the members for Edo State Local Government Service Commission which has Demian Lawani as chairman are Francis Akhigbe, Emmanuel Iyase and Benjamin Abu.
