EDHA Organizes Three-Day Workshop For Staff

IN line with its policy of training and re-training of staff, the Edo state House of Assembly has organized a three-day capacity building/training for staff cutting across all Cader.

The three-day training had in attendance facilitators from different sectors of the economy, who impacted staff with the needed knowledge to achieve the best in their chosen career in the legislative arm.

The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku, while addressing the staff, commended them for turning out in their numbers to attend the training. He expressed joy for the conduct of staff for the period of the training, calling on them to use the knowledge gained for their development.

Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, admonished staff to obey official dress codes while in the office, thanking the staff for their dedication and diligence to work, adding that, the staff and legislators have a symbiotic relationship to succeed in all their endeavors.

He thanked Governor Godwin Obaseki for the autonomy granted the legislature in the state, which he said is the first across the nation, calling on staff to reciprocate this good gesture by giving their all.

On his part, the Clerk of the Assembly, Alhaji Yahaya Audu-Omogbai, thanked the leadership of the house for the opportunity to organize the training, and, admon­ished staff to endeavor to use the knowledge gained in the training to better their lots and give their best in their scope of duty.

Highpoint of the training was the presentation of cer­tificates to the participants. This training is the second in the series of in-house training for staff.
