THE Chairman of the Public Administration Officers Forum, Mr. Oghenekaro Ovemeso, has commended the retiring Permanent Secretary of the Directorate of Local Government Affairs, Mrs. Ngozi Nwanze for her hard work, and for being a good example to others while in service.
Ovameso gave the commendation yesterday during a send-forth party for the retiring permanent secretary at the Prof. Chike Edozen Secretariat in Asaba.
He described, Mrs. Nwanze as a woman who has a very humble, calm and wonderful personality as attested to by her colleagues, friends, families and people around her.
He said that, her 35 years in service has been wonderful and diligent as she always carries everyone along, as she works hard to get the needed results.
He said that, her retirement in the office is a thing of joy as she is celebrating with good health and sound mind.
Meanwhile, the celebrant, Mrs. Nwanze expressed joy as it was a happy day for her to see her retirement after 35 years.
She thanked everyone who came to rejoice with her, praying God to protect them as they return back to their various destinations.
The event had the Chairman of Permanent Secretary forum, Mrs. Ngozi Mogbolu, Mrs. Joy Enwa and many other top civil servants who poured encomiums on her for excellent service to the state.
