Mrs. Tosan Erikpara FCNA, who is the Co-ordinator of Professional Women Accountants of Nigeria (PROWAN) Asaba Chapter, is indeed a leader with proud and remarkable accomplishments even with the modest time she has spent as the Co-ordinator of PROWAN Asaba Chapter.
Erikpara recently returned from the 29th ANAN Conference held in Abuja with an award won by PROWAN in the South South but which was handed over to her for the outstanding performance of the PROWAN Asaba Chapter which is part of the South South.
Erikpara who is the Director of Finance and Accounts (DFA), Delta State Ministry of Housing has thus proved to be a leader and at the same time, an erudite accountant as she was able to plan and to mobilize the women accountants under PROWAN to Abuja during the 29th National Conference of ANAN where the Asaba Chapter outnumbered the rest and was found worthy of keeping the trophy.
Erikpara described it as the beginning of greater things to come as she is committed to inspiring PROWAN Asaba Chapter to enormous achievements under her tenure as the Co-ordinator.
Shining brightly among other awardees, Erikpara and other women accountants contributed in no small measure to the success of the 29th edition of the ANAN conference through their active participation. It was held at ThisDay Dome, Central Business District, Abuja with the theme “Advancing Accounting Excellence In A Changing World.”
They participated in
highlights such as march past, dinner, PROWAN rainbow picnic event and other events. Erikpara noted that PROWAN is the women’s wing of ANAN and that she will continue to galvanize her members to contribute their best to the mission and vision of ANAN which is to be the best professional body in accounting in the country and beyond.
