Esewezie Inaugurates Sub-Committees To Drive Policies

THE Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Hon Chief Innocent Esewezie has inaugurated the leaders and members of the various subcommittees charged with the responsibility of ensuring effective implementation of the local government “PUTAIFE MORE Agenda”, for meaningful development.

Hon. Esewezie, who inaugurated the leaders and members of the various subcommittees at the Council Secretariat Akwukwu-igbo, enjoined the leaders and members to show commitment in driving the policies of government for the benefit of the people.

He emphasized that the policy thrust of his administration is to ensure the delivery of democratic dividends to the good people of Oshimili North through efficient streamlining of projects and programs based on the most important needs of the people.

It will be recalled that the Chairman recently commenced the process of mapping out a policy strategy to help guide the leadership of the LGA towards building a more sustainable development programmes in developed Oshimili North.

The local government boss, tasked the new inaugurated subcommittee leaders and members to prioritize the provision of relevant information and data necessary for governance,

The Chairman charged them to provide accurate information to help guide the local government towards attaining sustainable development which can be built upon, even after his tenure.

Mr. OliseIfeajika is the Chairman of the Central Implementation Committee, while the sub-committees’ chairmen include; the Vice chairman, Hon Amb Uju Okolo, Comr. Ifeanyi Nwaezeigwe, SSA to the Governor, Hon Chris Nwamgbor, the House Leader, Comr. Austin ElokaAjufo, the SLG, Chief Victor Uchuno, ICDU PG, and Onowu Abuah Austin amongst other.

Those present at the ceremony includes; Hon. Ekene Okonkwo, Councillor ward 8, Mr. Christopher Ejoh, Supervisory Councilor on Health, Hon. Emeka Odogwu, Supervisory Councilor on Works, Comr. Pascal Chukwurah, Supervisory Councilor on Education.

Others are Hon. UcheEsenwa, former vice chairman of the Council, Hon. Pino Aniemeka, Hon. Barr. (Dr.) Stella Mejulu, (FIDA president), Comrade Lucky Okolo, Okpanam Youth President General amongst others.
