BY JUMAI NWACHUKWU

AS schools across Delta State resume today for the third term of the 2024/2025 academic session, the State Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu, has called on students to embrace unity, discipline, and focus as they return to their classrooms.

In a phone call interview, Mrs. Ezewu emphasized the importance of collaboration and peaceful coexistence among students, stressing that a harmonious learning environment is crucial for academic excellence and personal growth.

She encouraged students to dedicate themselves to their studies, uphold good moral values, and avoid any actions that could disrupt the school system. “This new term presents another opportunity to strive for excellence,” she said. “I urge every student to support one another, respect their teachers, and work together towards achieving their dreams.”

The Commissioner also assured parents and guardians of the state government’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for learning through ongoing infrastructural upgrades and educational reforms under Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda.

Mrs. Ezewu wished all students and teachers a successful and productive term, urging them to uphold the standard of diligence and discipline that Delta State schools are known for.
