Ejiro Etacherure has visited the Nigerian Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF) Lodge in Asaba, the state capital, to assess the recent flood impacts on the lodge and to address the welfare of corps members residing there.
The commissioner, who was accompanied by the Corps’ Grand Patron, A. In his address, Hon. Etacherure expressed appreciation for the corps members’ dedication to managing their quarters, especially in light of recent flooding challenges.
He encouraged them to remain diligent in their work, be honest in their service, and take pride in their role as Nigerians contributing to the development of the country, assuring them of the state government’s support and concern for their well-being.
In a gesture of encouragement for their evangelistic efforts, Hon. Etacherure pledged to support the fellowship with a supply of Bibles and a cash donation. He also addressed several pressing needs raised by the corps members, including their request for a bus, mattresses, and other essential supplies. The commissioner promised to relay these concerns to the state government, adding that he was commitment to advocate for the necessary provisions.
The corps members responded to his promises with excitement, saluting him in the traditional Nigerian Corpers manner, a spirited show of appreciation that underscored their gratitude and hope for improved conditions.
