Foundation Partners With Isoko South LG To Improve Lives

BY PATRICK MGBODO

A Non-Governmental Organization, Ezekiel Enejeta Foundation, has proposed a partnership with Isoko South Local Government to enhance constituents’ lives through skill acquisition programs and other empowerment initiatives.

The Chief Executive Officer of the foundation, Comrade Enejeta Ezekiel, gave this assurance when he paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Isoko South Local Government Area, Comrade Warri Ovoke in Oleh.

Enejeta said he visited the council chairman to congratulate him on his victory at the Local government polls and his subsequent inauguration. He noted that it was imperative to identify with the local government boss to chart a way forward to ensure the progress of Isoko South and the Isoko nation. “I am available at your service with my foundation, the Ezekiel Enejeta Foundation. Anytime you call upon me to provide my assistance to the communities in your domain, I will be available. The idea is to make our communities more developed through empowering people and creating jobs; that is my primary objective’’ he said

Responding, the Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Council, Comrade Warri Ovoke, thanked Enejeta for the visit and for promising to work with his administration, noting that it was a rare move as not everyone would want to support the government with their resources.

“You are not the richest, neither the most favoured, but you have continued to demonstrate that giving is a gift powered by grace. I will also appreciate you for lending your hands to our administration to work together with us whenever the need arises.

“It’s not everybody that will offer themselves for service because most of the government work we do is service to and for someone like you. You deemed it fit to come from the comfort of your home and said, ‘Please, I am ready to serve my local government.’ “Whenever the need arises, we will call upon you, and whenever you need our assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to call upon us so that together we can make Isoko South and the Isoko nation a better place.”

In the company of Comrade Enejeta were the traditional ruler of Olomoro Kingdom, HRM Isaiah Isike; the Principal Manager of the Enejeta Foundation, Comrade James Agborie; Elvis Okolo; Kelvin Mordi; Edafe Akpaeta; Jezreel Egube; and chiefs from Olomoro Kingdom, among others.
