A political pressure group, Anioma Women Movement (AWM) has appreciated Senator Ned Nwoko of Delta North Senatorial District, over his kind gesture to constituents during the yuletide.
The Acting Senatorial Woman Leader, Mrs. Nnenna Obuh, speaking to newsmen, said Nwoko is an epitome of theory and practical levels of representation. “Nwoko’s leadership is a commitment to practical solutions for everyday problems,” she said.
She further noted that the movement appreciates and acknowledges the advocacy by Nwoko for the creation of Anioma State.
According to her; “President Tinubu is aware of the extent to which Senator Nwoko has taken the Anioma State creation and I want to assure you that the Anioma Women Movement is in solidarity with this struggle”.
“We will continue our campaigns by telling you that it is a done deal and truly the state creation is real and nobody should be deceived. In one of our meetings held with the Chief of Staff to Sen Ned Nwoko, we reaffirmed our resolve to sensitize the people on the Anioma State creation”, Obuh said.
According to her, Nwoko’s legacy is etched not in the grandeur of political speeches, but in the lives of people he had touched. “So, that is why we will continue to thank God for giving us a son and brother who to us, is the best senator in Nigeria,” she said.
