The leadership of the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), yesterday congratulated the immediate past Governor of the State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as he marked his 65th birth anniversary.
Speaker of the State Assembly, Rt. Hon Emomotimi Guwor and the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Arthur Akpowowo in separate messages, wished the former Governor well, just as they prayed for him and his household.
Specifically, the Speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nkem Nwaeke while wishing the former Governor sustained joy, peace and long life, said he has every reason to join hundreds of well-wishers across the nations to celebrate the immediate past Governor
Guwor pointed out that the legacy and contributions of Senator Okowa to the development of Delta State and the nation at large is appreciated and commendable, adding that “the 65th birth anniversary shall bring joy, peace, and many more celebrations to Dr Okowa, his immediate family and the state at large.
Continuing, Guwor said, “On behalf of the Honourable Members, Management and Staff of the Delta State Assembly, Constituents of Warri South West, Friends and Associates, I extend warm congratulations to you, Your Excellency, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, CON, on the occasion of your 65th birth anniversary. “We celebrate your life, achievements, and contributions to the development of Delta state and Nigeria. “Your leadership and vision during your tenure as Governor laid a solid foundation for growth and progress in Delta state.
“Congratulations and happy birthday anniversary, Your Excellency” Guwor stated.
