INDIGENES of Ibabu Community in Onicha Ukwuani, Ndokwa West Local Government Area, have joined Deltans in celebrating Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s 61st birthday, praising his achievements in office.
Traditional Minister (Onotu-Uku) of the Community, Chief Godwin Amuta and the Paramount Leader, Chief Sunday Aguye who spoke to our reporter on separate occasions, described the governor’s first year in office as eventful, with notable achievements in infrastructure, human capital development, and socio-economic growth. They commended the governor’s listening ear and commitment to consolidating on the legacies of his predecessor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
The community leaders also applauded the government’s even distribution of development projects and political appointments, citing the MORE agenda as a testament to the government’s dedication to democracy. They further pledged their support for the government’s policies and programmes, urging the speedy completion of the Obiukpo-Ibabu link road.
The duo also felicitated with Senator Ned Nwoko, Rep. Nnamdi Ezechi, and Hon. Prince Charles Emetulu on their successful one year in office, pledging their support for their full tenure.
