A community leader in Ibusa and Secretary of Obuzor-in-Council, Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area, Delta State, Onowu Austin Abuah has described the development strides of the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Innocent Esewezie in the various communities of the local government area as monumental that would remain indelible in the sands of time.
Onowu Abuah, in an interview with newsmen at his Umuogwo-Umuekea Ibusa country home, said that the re-election of Hon. Ezewezie to serve a fresh tenure was not surprising as a result of the good works he did in his first tenure and the cordial relationship he created amongst traditional rulers and indigenes of the area, as well as visitors alike.
The community leader, who was a onetime Special Adviser to the Local Government Chairman on Community Affairs, reiterated the continued support of the Obuzor and his cabinet to the administration of the local government, and congratulated, him on behalf of the traditional ruler of the community, His royal majesty Obi (Professor) Louis Chelunor Nwoboshi and his subjects for the recently landslide victory at the just-concluded local government elections, praying that God will continue to guide and bless him, the councilors and entire local government staff.
In the same vein, Onowu Abuah expressed satisfaction and commended the electorates for the peaceful conduct of the election and the massive turn out by the people to cast their votes for the PDP, and the Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and the other leaders of the party for providing a level play ground which enabled all the electorates to participate in the election.
He specifically expressed joy and appreciation to God for the victory of a former aide to Obuzor, Hon. Patrick Nwankwo as elected councilor and currently the new Majority Leader of the Oshimili North Legislative Arm and prayed to God for the protection of all.
