Delta State Government has vowed to promote transparency, strengthen accountability, fairness and honesty in its commitment to improve service delivery in the state.
The Commissioner, Bureau for Special Duties, Ejiro Etacherure, made the vow when he played host to the Special Adviser to the Governor on Labour Relations and Servicom, Hon Funkekeme Solomon and his team.
The Commissioner, who commended the Special Adviser for the visit, promised that the Bureau, as an organ of government that deals directly with the public, would do its best for the realization of the “MORE Agenda”.
Speaking earlier, the Senior Policy Adviser to the Governor, Hon. Funkekeme Solomon encouraged workers in the state public service to imbibe the “Servicom Order” of timeliness, fairness, honesty, transparency and accountability in the discharge of their duties.
He stressed that since the Bureau is pivotal in government dealings with humanity, members of staff must add value to the “MORE Agenda” of the Governor as he is desirous of delivering more dividends of democracy to Deltans.
Also present at the meeting were the Permanent Secretary of the Bureau, Prince Gregory Ejohwomu and other management Staff of the Bureau.
