Olorogun Oyibode told newsmen that his administration will erect signposts on the road sides with the inscription “Dump No Refuse Herr”, warning that anyone caught flouting the directive, will be slammed with a fine.

He appealed to residents of Udu to always obey the 7am to 10am restriction order during the monthly environmental sanitation days, to enable them clean their environment and drains, so as to avert outbreak of diseases .

The Delta State Commissioner for Environment, Mr Ejiro Tommy Jamani, who monitored the exercise in many local government areas across the state, also visited Udu Local Government, where he reportedly commended Olorogun Oyibode for opening up the road for free traffic.
