To combat the rising wave of criminal activities in Mosogar Kingdom, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, the local government has imposed an indefinite curfew.
This is s in an effort to restore peace and security to the kingdom.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Sunday Adjanme.
The statement titled: Notice of Placement of Curfew in Mosogar Kingdom reads in parts:
“I am directed to refer to the above subject and to inform you that following the incessant rate of kidnapping incident in Mosogar Kingdom, the local government after a due consultation with relevant stakeholders has resolved to impose an indefinite curfew beginning from 8:00pm – 6am with effect from 28th February, 2025 in the Kingdom in order to check the nefarious activities of these criminals”
The statement was copied to the Divisional Police Headquarters, Mosogar, the Ovie of Mosogar Kingdom, HRM Uduaka 1, the President General, Mosogar Youth Association, and the DSS, Ethiope West Local Government Area, Oghara.
