In furtherance of the drive to propagate good governance in Delta State, the Integrity Group, a socio-political group based in Delta State, has installed a former Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Peter Onwusanya as a Patron.
The installation was in recognition of his unwavering support and astute leadership role over the years, and to project his stance towards the actualization of the MORE Agenda.
In appreciation, Onwusanya applauded members of the Integrity Group, for such a rare privileged and outstanding role in their political movement. “I am very grateful and honoured to be associated with the Integrity Group. I have been a member so many groups since 1999 till date but this is the time to come out and identify with a group pursuing good governance.
“Thank God we are alive, as so many of us have benefited from politics, and those who have not are still marching on with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). This integrity group is a special group for me, like we have the Onwusanya’s Faithful Forum (OFF) and others.
Our goal is MORE Agenda; by the grace of God and the privilege to stand before you, I have accepted this honour and responsibility of being one of your Patrons.
“From now on we keep marching on, where there is a lacuna we will start amending them. Llike I always say, politics is very difficult; it takes courageous people to sustain the political war, rumours and backbiting. But as the saying goes ‘Forward ever and backwards never, same goes to the MORE Agenda and the message is clear: Sheriff is the agenda.
Earlier, the Convener and Chairman of Integrity Group, Delta State, Dr. Oke Idawene commended members of the group for their unwavering support in the course of promoting the MORE Agenda and good governance. “Today we are here to officially install our Rt.Hon. Peter Onwusanya as our patron and supporter of the MORE Agenda in Delta State.
“To our patron we salute your courage and contribution in building good governance and a formidable party. Integrity Group is a group that is synonymous to MORE Agenda, and we are propagating MORE Agenda. We remain the only endorsed political group for over the years that has been on the fore front in projecting the Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration”.
