The Chairman of Isoko South, Comrade Warri Ovoke Friday has expressed his satisfaction and commendation to the newly elected Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Victor Ekelegbe and his executive members.
He described the party chairman as a seasoned politician with wealth of experience, poised to significantly contribute to the growth and success of the party at the grassroots level, adding that the resilience demonstrated by the other members was worthy of great recommendations.
The Chairman, Comrade Warri Ovoke Friday, also dissolved all revenue committees in the area.
The decision for the dissolution was reached shortly after a closed door meeting with the various revenue committees’ operators in the local government area.
The local government chairman also directed that all the council property in their possession should be handed over to appropriate quarters.
Business owners and residents in Isoko South, who were yet to meet up with their revenue obligations for 2024 have been urged to wait pending when further instructions were given.
