LG Boss Calls For DTSG Attention Over Collapsed Bridge

FOLLOWING the recent collapsed bridge on the Uzere-Asaba-Ase road in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, the Chairman of the local government, Comrade Warri Ovoke has called for the immediate attention of the state government to carry out the repairs.

The call was made after an emergency trip to inspect and assess the damages caused by the collapsed bridge as he also assured the people of swift communication with the state government.

He expressed gratitude to God Almighty as no life was lost, despite the prolonged heavy rain that led to the collapsed of the bridge, adding that though it might not be a pleasant situation but the joy of it was that, there were no casualties.

“To this, we express regrets over the circumstances and also want you to know that, we are privileged to have a governor who is attentive and focused on advancing the interest of Delta”.

He recommended that Isoko South residents and motorists should opt for alternative routes for their journeys, specifically for those Asaba-Ase market traders until the major repairs are effected.
