AHEAD of the July 13 Local Government Elections in Delta State, business tycoon and CEO of Obadolo Garden City, Opete town, Prince Oghenechowho Obadolo has made donations of assorted drinks to support the chairmanship campaign of the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Udu Local Government, Olorogun Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode.
Represented by his friend, Hon Justice Iyasere, who is a former Vice-Chairman of Udu local government, Prince Obadolo expressed optimism that under Olorogun Oyibode’s leadership, Udu local government area would experience meaningful development, emphasizing that he was prepared to support Chief Oyibode all the way.
Making the donation at Otor-Udu, headquarters of Udu local government area, Prince Obadolo, who is also Chairman and CEO of Obadolo Energy Nigeria Limited and Badaro Energy Limited, disclosed that he was going to play host to the PDP chairmanship candidate soon so as to strengthen relationship and contribute his quota to making Udu a better place for all.
The items presented were about 150 cartons of assorted can drinks to aid his campaigns round the entire Udu as part of his contributions to the success of Olorogun Vincent Oyibode in the coming polls.
Receiving the drinks, which include beer and carbonated minerals, the PDP candidate, Olorogun Vincent Oyibode flanked by his vice-chairmanship candidate, Mrs. Omovie-Oputu Najite Omojevwe thanked the donor for the kind gesture.
He noted that the torrents of support he had received since the party leaders chose him was overwhelming, promising to deliver on his campaign promises so as not to disappoint those who had invested much confidence in him.
In a related development, the PDP chairmanship candidate, Olorogun Vincent Oyibode has hosted all former chairmanship aspirants under the PDP in the area, in order to forge a common front for the council elections.
Addressing the former chairmanship aspirants, Olorogun Oyibode thanked them for showing understanding and cooperation over the outcome of the process that led to his emergence.
He assured them of running an inclusive and people-oriented administration when elected as chairman of Udu and urged them to support him in the July 13 and other subsequent elections.
