HOPE AKAEZUE
Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ward 1 Sapele Local Government Area, under the leadership of Chief Felix Anirah recently played host to members of the Local Government Campaign Council of the party. In his speech, the PDP Ward 1 Chairman, Jimmy Eta, on behalf of the ward leaders, assured the party of resounding victory at all units in the ward. He added that the ward is adequately prepared to ensure total victory for the party, come July 13 2024.
Earlier, the Sapele Local Government PDP Chairman, Okakuro Dadi, presented the PDP flag bearer for the election, Chief Bright Abeke, Chairmanship candidate, alongside his Vice, Mrs Dora Aweto, as well as Ward 1 Councillorship candidate, Don Bagere to the party supporters.
PDP stalwarts present at the ceremony include Mr Austine Ayemidejor, Special Adviser to the Governor; Hon Felix Anirah, PDP Ward 1 Leader; Hon Godwin Atose, Hon Eugene Inoaghan, immediate past Chairman of Sapele Local Government; Dr Godfrey Enitan; Chief (Mrs) Eunice Anirah, Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Development.
Others are Chief Cyril Ogodo, Hon James Eta, PDP Ward 1 Chairman; Hon Efe Mafuru, DG Ward 1; Hon Richard Ogirisen, former Councilor Ward 1; and Chief Ezewieze Titus, amongst others.
