Over 899 staff of the Unified Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), are expected to participate in the July 2024 promotion interview series.
In a circular signed on behalf of the Chairman, Hon. Joseph Otirhue by the Deputy Director of Administration of the Commission, Dr. Julius Oteme, the promotion exercise has been scheduled to commence tomorrow, July 17 and ends on July 24, 2024.
Officers invited for the exercise have been requested to appear before the promotion committee on their scheduled dates as they won’t be attended to on a different date. They are to come with all necessary credentials as nursing mothers are advised to leave their new born babies and toddlers at home or day care centres before coming to the commission promotion interview.
The circular also stated that officers are to dress properly in line with the civil service dress code as improper dressing will not be allowed.
The promotion exercise which will take place at the Olorogun Felix Ibru Secretariat, will have the Administrative Officer Cadre, Accountant Cadre, Legal Officer Cadre, Information Officer Cadre, Programme Analyst Cadre, Planning Officer Cadre, Social Welfare Officer Cadre, Statistician Cadre, Data Processing Officer Cadre, Computer Assistant Cadre, Confidential Secretary Cadre and Secretarial Assistant Cadre, on the July 17, 2024.
While July 18, 2024, would be for Community Development Officer Cadre, Education Officer Cadre, Community Development Inspector Cadre, Assistant Education Officer Cadre, Adult Education Cadre, Executive Officer (Admin) Cadre and Executive Officer (Accounts) Cadre, Legislative Officer Cadre, Legislative Assistant Cadre, Executive Officer Admin Cadre, Executive Officer Account Cadre.
Nursing Officer Cadre, Medical Records officer Cadre, Community Health Officer Cadre, Health Educator Cadre, Fisheries Officer Cadre, Livestock Officer Cadre, Agricultural Officer Cadre, Agricultural Superintendent Cadre, Legislative Officer Cadre, Legislative Assistant Cadre Medical Records Technician Cadre, Community Health Extension Worker Cadre, Pharmacy Technician Cadre, Market/Motor Park Superintendent Cadre and Revenue Superintendent Cadre would have their turn on the third day of the exercise.
While Engineer Cadre, Architect Cadre, Town Planning Officer Cadre, Technical Officer Cadre, Food Scientific Officer Cadre, Medical (Science) Laboratory Technologist Cadre, Environmental Health Officer Cadre, Environmental Health Technician Cadre, Health Educator Technician Cadre, Assistant Dietician Cadre, Dietitian Technician Cadre, Works Superintendent Cadre and Senior Deck Staff Cadre shall be interviewed on July 24, 2024.
