THE newly inaugurated Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon Prince Godwin Ogorugba, has strongly affirmed his administration’s agenda toward the welfare of the people in his jurisdiction.
The chairman gave the affirmation in his office while addressing the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), adding that his administration is poised on efficient service delivery.
The chairman who also responded to the earlier appeal made by the leadership of the Union, led by the Vice chairman, Mr. Gideon Esime for support in areas of staff welfare and to carry out necessary repairs, to enable the staff do their work effectively, however, promised to do all within his powers to give the staff a conducive working environment.
“I will ensure that, l do anything within my reach based on the revenue available to give the staff a conducive environment as earlier mentioned and l enjoin you to pass this information across to the staff that if you must remain in the local government, you must put your acts together to work effectively”.
“You have to be efficient, timely and productive to improve on your service delivery. It is a collective responsibility in line with the MORE agenda”.
The Union Vice Chairman, Mr. Gideon Esime commended the local government boss for his indulgence as the chairman’s portrait was presented to him by the Head of Personnel Management (HPM), Mr. Austin Onokpasa.
