BY CHRISTY ABOGHE

THE Neo Black Movement of Africa (NBM), Okpanam, GRA Sub Zone has taken a significant step in supporting education for young Nigerian students in Delta State, particularly in Okpanam Community in Oshimili North Local Government Area.

President of the NBM’s GRA Okpanam Chapter, Ibrahim Endurance, highlighted that education is the best legacy to give to children, hence the group was focused on supporting education.

He called on the state government to improve school infrastructure, such as providing chairs, tables and chalkboards and to renovate dilapidated school buildings to create a more conducive learning environment.

Other members of the NBM present also echoed the importance of education.

Like, Prince Adeyemi Eniola emphasized that supporting education can help reduce social vices like thuggery, while Onyia Kechukwudua stressed the group’s mission to fight oppression and assist the vulnerable.

A widow, Jacinta Okwuocha, expressed her gratitude to the NBM for supporting her child’s education.

The Head Teacher of Mgbala Primary School, Mrs. Omagbemi Rita, also expressed her appreciation, praying for continued blessings for NBM members.

As part of their commitment to addressing the economic struggles faced by many families, the NBM paid school fees and donated stationery to students in four schools.

The event concluded with the presentation of school items to the beneficiaries, who were thankful for the group’s generosity and called for further assistance from the state government.
